I guess the only good thing about this hotel is the location.
Apart from everything except location being rubbish, the most annoying thing was thin walls. You can clearly hear absolutely everything that's going on in your half on the building. Definitely wouldn't stay here again.
No elevator, no air conditioning, hairs found in the sheets. So awful blood paint coloured corridors, really bad service.
Location, the clean sheets and clean bathroom.
The old facility, non having an elevator, not clean curtains.
The location is good, very close to Bastille and the hotel is remarkably quiet for central Paris.
The hotel is very rickety, sloping floors and a very narrow and difficult staircase. The decor is old-fashioned and the bathrooms are pretty poor. But if you like beams on the ceiling, and the feel of old paris, then fine.
The decor is very old and the furniture is in bad condition. Staff were very nice, but I would avoid this hotel next time (budget permitting).
The location. But for the same price you will get a better deal in a hotel a bit further away from the center. Because with the use of the metro everything is close by. Tip!!!
*Towels; 1 towel pp, we stayed for 4 nights, they didn't change our towels. After 2 days I asked for a change and I got 2 "clean"wet ones back. * Room; Very small and it looks very poor. Very noisy indoor and there is no closet. *Bathroom; Showercurtain has mould and smells, no ventilation, no proper garbage bucket, the showerhead doesn't want hang properly, water drain is bad. *Staff; A bonjour is very hard to say, not very helpfull.
the location is nice and the rooms are cozy
the stiars are very narrow
This hotel is located in very good area, for it is near Rivoli and Gare de Lyon. So i can recommend it for travelers and persons who want to go shopping on Rivoli. This hotel is good for a 3 or 4 -day stay
At the day of my arrival there werent a soap and a shampoo. But very soon this problem disappeared, as at the reception these things were given to me
Some of the staff members, are very unhelpful. Room is very small & bare...
must say the location is perfect. restaurants next to the hotel, one chinese takeaway, sushi and subways. the underground is 3 minutes walking.
only two charges in the room, one is about 2 meters high on the wall and one is in the bathroom. poor electricity power, even hair dryer cannot work. we ask for triple room, but al facility in the room come with two. the staff is terrible, even not willing to help. the overall is totally rubbish.
The curtains were good as they blocked out the light.
There were no fuses, so people recharged their batteries down the corridor. As we had the room up to 12 noon, we planned to sleep up to 11.20am after a late night, but our sleeps were ruined by maids knocking at our door several times starting as early as 9.30am! We had to carry ourt luggage to the 4th floor, through several corridors without any lift. The door lock was almost falling apart.
The description of the hotel on booking says - ''24-hour reception with a free internet terminal and luggage storage". I went to the reception to use the internet at midnight and the 'manager' told me that the hotel reception was closed. ... baad
The hotel is very well localized and this is the main positive point. Has free wifi at the loby, and this helps international travellers. The deluxe room is acceptable. I hav stayed before at the regular room and its horrible, too old. The deluxe is totally renewed and this is positive.
As all parisian hotels, the rooms are too small, but this is not particular to this hotel. The hotel does not have elevator, so if you are not lucky to stay at 1 floor, its gonna be hard with the stairs. The staff is good, but I went to ask them an information at 12:05 and they told me that their work time has ended and they could not help me, being a little rude.
Good location and friendly staff but the broken shower did not get fixed and the staff did not pass on this to his replacement. She acted well and moved us to new room.
It needs some money spending on paintwork and decor. It is a bit shabby.
The shower was mouldy and dirty. It was difficult to find a plug to charge phone, ipod etc. There was no lift, and our room was up a narrow staircase to get to the fourth floor. The Hotel reception would not allow anyone to make a call out to get a taxi, they did not give out any tourist info, and we were told to go to the hotel down the road if we needed info. No wifi was available. Only three channels on tv, all in French. What we paid, could have gotten us a four star hotel in Southern Italy. Not good value for money.
